ACIED Africa’s Gender Action Learning for Mainstreaming Gender at Business, Households, and Individual Levels and Promoting Gender Economic Justice

Community-Led Research on Participatory Gender Action Learning and Economic Justice Capacity-Building in Communities and Institutions

ACIED Africa is conducting community-led research on Gender Action Learning in cocoa, cashew, and other food crop-producing communities in Dekina Local Government, Kogi State. The key objective is to introduce a gender methodology as a set of tools adapted to analyze gender barriers that prevent both men and women from achieving their vision. This initiative also aims to promote the principles of CEDAW—the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women—while advocating for gender justice at household, individual, and business levels, and mainstreaming gender into development policies and programs.
